Swifts & Hummingbirds (Apodiformes)
Birds within the order Apodiformes are very small and have short legs and tiny, scaleless, feet. Within the 3 families (swifts, treeswifts, & hummingbirds), the order includes around 400 to 425 species.
No species of treeswift are found in our area.
